Therapacks contain natural Australian lupin seeds – chosen for their remarkable heat-retaining qualities. Lupin seeds are odourless, pest-resistant, allergy friendly and, unlike hot water bottles or gels, safe in the event of spills.They are made from 100% cotton and are hand-washable. These packs can be heated in either an oven or a microwave, or chilled in a freezer.
The Therapacks Elbow and Ankle Pack is designed to fit the ankle, elbow and upper arm. The pack wraps neatly around these areas and is held in place by Velcro fastening straps. The wearer retains mobility while enjoying the benefit of continuously applied treatment. The pack may relieve sports injuries, bring local pain relief, and ease joint pain, sprains and arthritis.

Lupin Seeds
*Therapacks freeze the Lupin seed to below -10°C for 48 hours minimum to ensure any weevils or lave are killed.The seed is 'vacuum' cleaned to remove loose husks/chaff/dust/burrs. The coverings are apparel 100% cotton fabric from Charles Parsons. No chemicals are used in the production or cleaning of our packs.
Seal the pack in a plastic bag and place in the freezer for the time recommended on the pack.
For Hot Treatment – Oven:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Insert the pack into an oven-safe bag.
Lower the oven temperature to 50°C. Place the bag in the oven for the time recommended on the pack. Check the pack at 5, 10 and 15 minutes to obtain the desired temperature.
For Hot Treatment – Microwave:
Heat the pack in a turntable microwave set to High for the time recommended on the pack.
As a safety measure, always place a glass of water in the microwave to reduce the risk of the pack overheating.
WARNING: Never use recycled paper products in microwave ovens unless they are specifically approved for microwave use. Some recycled products including paper towels and even waxed paper may contain minute metal flecks. When a microwave oven is operating, the interaction between microwaves and the metal can cause sparks and even flames.
